Aircraft Maintenance Projects

We organize and deliver project-based aircraft maintenance for regional operators, owners, and lessors. Pacific Aviation Engineering assembles type-rated licensed aircraft maintenance engineers (LAMEs), project-specific tooling, and suitable facility space for the duration of the maintenance input.

Scope of Engineering Work

  • Scheduled calendar, phase, and hourly maintenance inputs
  • Unscheduled defect troubleshooting and rectification
  • Project-specific tooling, equipment, and consumables coordination
  • Assembly of type-rated Category B1 and B2 licensed engineers
  • Work executed within the operator’s approved maintenance procedures

Technical Deliverables & Certification

Regional Turboprop Scheduled Maintenance Input

Location: New Zealand or Regional Pacific Facility
The Requirement:

Operator requiring a dedicated scheduled maintenance check or structural inspection without incurring lengthy wait times at distant overseas facilities.

How PAE Could Support It:

Assemble an appropriately rated B1/B2 engineering team, coordinate required tooling and facility space, and execute the workscope under the operator’s Part 145 framework.

Intended Outcome:

Completion of the agreed workpackage with direct communication and structured project oversight throughout the maintenance input.

Unscheduled Defect Rectification & Field AOG Support

Location: Pacific Island Airfield
The Requirement:

Aircraft grounded away from home base with an unscheduled defect requiring qualified engineering intervention and diagnostic tooling.

How PAE Could Support It:

Rapidly assemble and mobilise appropriately licensed engineers and diagnostic equipment from New Zealand or regional centres to perform on-site troubleshooting.

Intended Outcome:

Defect rectification and technical documentation prepared to support the operator in returning the aircraft to service.

Aircraft Lease Transition & Redelivery Survey

Location: Designated Handover Airfield
The Requirement:

End-of-lease redelivery requiring independent technical records review, physical condition inspection, and discrepancy management.

How PAE Could Support It:

Provide independent on-site technical representation to review maintenance records, inspect physical aircraft condition, and liaise with the outgoing operator and lessor.

Intended Outcome:

Structured inspection report, discrepancy tracking, and asset records verified against lease redelivery conditions.
